T.28 If There Weren’t Any Women in the World (german / barndance)

Jim’s version of this tune is a distinct local one. James Morrison recorded a version of it and it was also recorded by the Carrigart singer and fiddler John McGettigan in the early 1930s in America. In this sole recording of Jim’s playing of this tune he misses changing to the second part a few times and when he does, he singles the second part. The transcription is based on this playing but documents the way Jim would have correctly played the tune.
